Lisa Atkins just got back from a trip to Majok Goi in South Sudan and talks about her friend Angar Dut Akol Ruay's struggle with giardia and a lack of clean water. South Sudan is the newest country in the world, having formed in 2011 after decades of civil war with Sudan. Massive displacement from the war has left the economy in shambles and the country struggles from widespread food scarcity.

Over 59% of the people in South Sudan don't have access to clean water. More people die from dirty water than from violence.
