Ready for South Sudan?

If you are wanting to experience a trip with purpose and don’t mind roughing it, we welcome you to travel with us. You might meet former slaves and will visit our polio survivors, our basketball players and our women’s PTSD program as well as see Dr. Luka’s clinic (if we are there on a clinic day.)

We sleep in tents or houses made of concrete block. They are hot, and a light breakfast and dinner is served, so nutrition bars and snacks are necessary. Tea and bottled water are plentiful.

There is no running water and electricity comes from a generator. Everyone takes solar showers (they are just fine) in a private area.

Also, you may want to bring bug spray and hand sanitizer.
